SAFETY ADVISORY GROUP

 

 

  • A network of Subject Matter Experts to advise the Trainers Program Chair on matters of participant safety, risk management, injury prevention and injury management programs. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to the following areas:

  • Role of the OMHA in participant safety, including injury prevention and risk management

  • Medical and health related issues, including concussion education and management

  • Provide opinions on submissions related to Appeals/Hearings

  • Specific, issue-based responses regarding emergent issues on an ad hoc basis

  • Equipment

  • Services and Service providers

  • Education in the area of participant safety, risk management and injury management

  • Review of procedures/directives/interventions within the scope of OMHA Programs
